Home Upgrade Grant funding for Landlords

Cornwall Council have received the go-ahead for a second round of funding for off-gas grid properties in Cornwall. The Home Upgrade Grant will fund measures such as insulation and low carbon heating for tenanted properties that have an EPC rating of D or E (or F/G rated with valid exemptions).

To qualify for the grant funding:

• the property must be off-gas, in Cornwall, and have an EPC rating of D or E (or F/G rated with valid exemptions); and
• the household income of the tenants must be less than £31,000 a year; and
• the landlord needs to make a contribution of 1/3 towards the overall grant awarded.
